Available Sites and Buildings
GREDA has teamed with AMEREN and Location One Information Systems (LOIS), a real-time, on-line economic development site selection tool. LOIS provides information on available sites and buildings using a Global Information System or GIS-enhanced database system.
LOIS provides critical data and information on available properties and sites, which includes building size and square footage, utility providers, lease or sale rate, building layout, property usage, contacts, and other vital information. Users can download fliers, maps and market information from the GREDA LOIS Page.
LOIS was created by Economic Development Professionals for Economic Development Professionals. LOIS is based on full compliance with the International Economic Development Council’s (IEDC) Site Selection Data Guidelines. LOIS meets the needs of site selectors and real estate consultants.
LOIS has moved to a new geographic information system (GIS) mapping platform. This new technology allows you and prospective businesses to search for locations and properties like you never have before.
With your new LOIS experience, you have access to:
- A new GIS mapping platform.
- Twelve different ESRI radii reports that can be customized using miles or minutes for all of your community, sites and building records through ESRI’s cloud technology.
- Eighteen thematic maps created using demographic data from ESRI.
- Drawing tools for spatial area site and building searches (rectangle, ellipse, polygon and point radius or line buffer).
- Mapping layers including business information by NAICS, airports, railroads, universities, technical schools, hospitals and county boundaries.
- Local custom layers, which give you the option to import up to 10 local GIS custom mapping layers to display assets like industrial parks, school districts, special business or incentive districts, enterprise zones and more.
